All of our employees are professionally trained and, in following with industry standards and standards developed within our company, are constantly re-trained in the latest information, procedures and standards.
All on-site training for new employees is incorporated as on-the-job experience and supervised by a qualified Project Manager. Daily Safety Meetings are held at the commencement of each shift to discuss project related and general safety items.
Throughout the on-job training, the Project Managers or Operations Manager will work alongside the new employee and track progress, making observations on how well training is put into practice, observing of standards and following of safety standards.
In addition to onsite training, our technicians are sent to gain various accreditations that relate directly to the job. Our Team has attained certification in Industrial First Aid, Confined Space Awareness, Fall Protection, WHMIS, Lift Safety, and NADCA.
As another part of our Health and Safety component, a general Safety and Procedures meeting will be held each month at Head Office. All operations employees are expected to attend this meeting. These meetings will follow a set schedule of Safety and Procedures issues pertaining to our company work standards. This schedule is planned in advance by the company Operations Manager and Project Managers.
All employees are expected to read the Clean Air services "Blue Book". This manual outlines the specific safety methods and procedures for handling the chemicals and equipment used by our company.
